Smart Sanitization Kiosk

Interactive hygiene stand with custom hardware, sensors, and educational video content

Project Summary:
During the COVID-19 pandemic, we partnered with the UAE Ministry of Education to design and deploy smart sanitization kiosks across schools and public spaces. These interactive stands were built to encourage hand hygiene and promote health awareness among students in an engaging way.

How It Worked:

• 🖥️ Equipped with a screen, motion sensor, and automatic sanitizer dispenser

• 👋 Motion detection triggered a video of a character “knocking” and asking the student to sanitize

• ✋ When a student placed their hands under the dispenser, it released sanitizer

• 🎉 The system responded with a “thank you” message and played an educational video about vaccination

• 💡 Powered by a custom-designed PCB and built for 24/7 operation across multiple locations

This was more than just a sanitization tool — it was an engaging, behavior-changing experience designed to merge health safety with digital interactivity.
